DINAS Powys Players have been busy preparing their autumn production which they will present this month.

The Players will perform Alan Ayckbourn's Seasons Greetings from November 17-19 at the Parish Hall, Britway Road.

Originally presented at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough in 1980 and subsequently at the Apollo Theatre in the West End before being revived in 2010 starring Catherine Tate and Mark Gattis, Seasons Greetings combines cynicism and humour and is crafted by Alan Ayckbourn whose plays have been well received by the Players audiences over the years.

Dinas Powys Players have also performed Round and Round the Garden in 1978, How the Other Half Loves 2002, Table Manners 2004, Bedroom Farce 2005, and most recently Tons of Money in 2013. The group also enjoyed success with Gosforth Fete a one act comedy by the same author.

The Players autumn production is being directed by Eileen Carryer with a cast that includes established members and sees the welcome return of Mark Conway and three new faces of Chris Parsons, Scott Jones and Ehlana Dibble.

The group is confident that Seasons Greetings will be equally popular with audiences when it is presented at the Parish Hall.
