PENARTH teenager Catrin Roberts put her cake making skills to good use when she raised an impressive £320 for Children in Need.
The 13-year-old, from Wordsworth Avenue, baked a variety of delicious cakes and hosted an afternoon tea party and cake sale in Penarth and, with the help of her friends, organised additional fundraising activities during the event.
A pupil at Ysgol Bro Morgannwg and a fan of the BBC's 'Great British Bake Off', Catrin said: “I love making celebration cakes, so it was a really fun way to raise money for Children in Need.
"My favourite cake was the Pudsey Bear celebration cake, which I raffled.”
