PETER Alan has been awarded The Sunday Times Letting Agent Award for Best Wales Letting Agency for the third year running.
South Wales’ largest estate and letting agent received the accolade at The Letting Agency of the Year Awards ceremony in London, held in association with The Sunday Times and The Times.
This award comes just months after Peter Alan was also crowned the Best Wales Estate Agency for the third consecutive year.
The award judges’ report said: “Peter Alan proved at every stage of the judging process that it is a deserving gold winner and the judges were delighted to see the continued desire to improve on the sky-high standards which won this agency the gold award in 2013 as well. Highlights range from a “Pay Day” rent guarantee scheme which has proved itself to be a winner with landlords, to the introduction of MAZE technology which is used by Norwegian banks and companies such as Specsavers.”
Andrew Barry, Managing Director of Peter Alan, said: “I am delighted that we have seen such success for Peter Alan in these prestigious national awards, three times winning the Wales estate agency of the year award and now also being named the best letting agency in Wales for the third year running. It is testament to the hard work of our fantastic staff and shows that we are continuously achieving high standards to help customers in Wales find their perfect home.”
The Lettings Agency of the Year Awards in association with The Sunday Times & The Times sponsored by Zoopla is held in June and is the only awards event solely focussed on lettings. Now in its fifth year as a dedicated competition, these awards have become widely recognised as the most prestigious and difficult to win. With more entrants than ever before, nearly 6,000 offices were represented this year, but only the very best of the best were crowned as winners.
The awards ceremony was the culminating event of a rigorous and thorough judging process by a panel of 21 industry experts who assessed initial entry submissions before conducting an extensive review of the entrants, which included over 12,000 minutes of telephone interviews and mystery shopping exercises. The whole of the judging process was overseen by The Property Ombudsman.
The winners were presented with their awards by Katie Piper, the best-selling international author, inspirational speaker, TV presenter and charity campaigner who has rebuilt her life after surviving a brutal attack in which she had sulphuric acid thrown in her face.
