PENARTH Coastguard and police were called out to search for a man in the Outer Harbour of Cardiff Bay Barrage last night, August 28.
The man was seen entering the water at around 9.30pm, before he was spotted leaving the water and cycling towards Penarth Portway.
The police helicopter was also called out to help direct coastguards and police to the man.
A Penarth Coastguard spokesman said the man was “quite intoxicated” but required no medical assistance.
He was handed over to the police and Penarth Coastguard returned to station.
