THE first Penarth Town Plan will be officially launched later this month.
After months of being written local residents will be able to see the plan for the first time at the Paget Rooms on Tuesday, September 30.
The Plan’s writers will be speaking about the document during the official launch, while local people will have the chance to express their views on it too.
Hundreds of people have contributed ideas to the Plan since development began in summer 2013.
The Town Council are hoping members of the community will put themselves forward to keep the Plan on track and make sure it’s implemented.
Cllr Michael Cuddy, Leader of Penarth Town Council, said: “It’s taken a while for us to get to this stage and the response we’ve had has been great. We’re hoping that people stay involved once it’s published. A word of warning though: don’t expect a conventional plan.”
