PENARTH lifeboat crew towed a stranded fishing boat to safety in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The volunteer crew set out in the Atlantic 85 lifeboat to rescue a disabled 24foot fishing vessel four miles east of Newport.
The boat was then towed back to a mooring at Uskmouth Sailing Club, with all aboard safe and well.
Chepstow Coastguards also assisted with the mooring and provided safety advice to those on board.
The Penarth crew were called out at 8.30pm and returned to station around 1am on Sunday, October 26.
