MEMBERS of Penarth RVS met at the Paget Rooms, after singing their opening hymn, two minutes silence was observed as it was Armistice Day.
Mrs Longman was unable to come to the meeting as she had a hospital appointment. The afternoon’s entertainment was ‘Mobile Fashions’, and as always many bargains were available.
Jeanie Jones played many war songs during the afternoon which members enjoyed. Refreshments were served and the raffle drawn and members departed with their hymn ‘God be with you’.
