COMMUNITY councillors, along with a number of volunteer residents, took part in a big clean up on May 16, 2015 clearing all litter from various parts of the village with the object of making Llandough a cleaner place to live in.
More than 14 bags of litter were collected including paper, bottles, cans, sweet and crisp packets as well as a chair, two Citroen wheel covers and a large double glazing panel.
Llandough Community Council organises litter picks twice a year and each time a large amount of litter is picked up.
Councillor Pat Hanley, chairman of the council, said: "It is such a shame that people do not take more care for their environment."
