WESTBOURNE school had a special guest at their annual Friends of Westbourne summer fair.
On Thursday, June 25, boxing featherweight world champion Lee Selby was on hand for a meet and great.
Those in attendance had photographs taken with the Barry star and congratulated him on his title win.
The weather was set fair and there was a large turnout for the event which included fun and games for the children.
There was also a barbecue to end the evening as well as a large raffle with donated prizes for which the school are grateful.
Every year the friends come together with the local community to put on the fair along with support from companies such as Tesco Penarth, Pin Cushion Barry, Land rover Cardiff and many more.
The school would like to thank the friends, who are chaired by Alex Smith, and all the parents for helping to make the event such a success.
