THE Oxfam shop in Penarth is appealing for donations for their second vinyl record promotion this autumn.

During the promotion there will be collectable rock, pop, folk and jazz LPs and singles and for the first time there will also be hard to find classical music vinyl.

Jayne Luxton the shop manager said, "Last year's music promotion was extremely successful with over £1000 raised in just a few weeks. We are always grateful for any donations that we receive and our committed volunteer team ensure that we obtain the best possible prices. We are appealing for anyone who would like to donate their unwanted vinyl to contact us. We welcome donations of all vinyl - singles and LPs - of every genre. In addition we are also looking for CDs, sheet music and music books."

In the last year the Oxfam Shop has built up a reputation for selling music of all kinds and they are extremely thankful to all their loyal customers who call in regularly to purchase the ever changing stock.

Anyone who would like to donate music of any kind can drop their donations off at the shop in Windsor Street, Penarth. Large collections can be picked up by arrangement by telephoning 02920 706358.
