KEEP Wales Tidy’s latest version of the Wales Coast App launches this week, including a new augmented reality feature to allow users to see the different species of dolphins and where you can spot them.
The mix of digital animation and real life imagery allows the user to get an insight into the beautiful dolphins and porpoises that we have along the Coast.
In the latest version you can find out information on many of the lighthouses in Wales, making it truly all you need to explore the Welsh Coast.
The free app contains an array of information and exciting features for anyone planning a coastal break.
Avid walkers will like the fact that the App measures the route and gradient of the Wales Coast Path, enabling you to track your progress, and access live weather links and tide timetables.
Users can find their nearest beach and check out local attractions and facilities, including National Trust sites, hotels and restaurants. The App functions without mobile phone coverage, allowing walkers to use it along the entire Coastal Path.
The Wales Coast App is available to download on the Apple App Store and the Android Play Store, and now offers tourism and leisure providers an ideal platform to promote their businesses.
