A COLLEGE for autistic children has undergone a colourful transition thanks to a local graffiti artist.

Beechwood College in Sully, the purpose built residential college for young people aged 16-25, commissioned Kyle Hill of the Vale of Glamorgan based Karm Graffiti to paint a number of areas around the college to add a splash of colour and interest to the walls.

The work took place over 10 days and saw four areas painted with a variety of images including landscapes, logos and animals.

One of the pieces is the new colour-splash logo on what is soon to be the Enterprise Shop.

The shop will provide a space for the students to store and sell all of their art, craft and woodwork items.

A spokesman for the college said: "All of the pieces look fantastic. The new colour-splash logo is eye-catching.

"The staff and students at the college are very impressed by the work."

The college hopes to commission further work in the future.
