SUPPORTERS of Cancer Research UK met at the Conservative Club in Penarth for an evening of quizzing.
Teams tried to find the answers to rounds of topics varying from A Sporting Chance to H-H-History to The Easiest Round which wasn't actually as easy as it sounded.
Winners on the night were Six of the Best and each member received a prize of a bottle of wine.
Six of the Best were closely followed by Bob's Mob.
Organisers would like to thank the people who generously donated prizes for the raffle and also to thank the Conservative Club for the use of the Prince William Suite.
The evening raised £344 which will go towards supporting research carried out in the charity's Welsh-based projects.
The next event is a coffee morning to be held as part of the Holiday Festival.
It will be at the Paget Rooms on Saturday, July 16 starting at 10am.
