A YOUNG girl from Penarth has raised nearly £200 through a charity hair cut.
Seven-year-old Rebecca James has also donated her long hair to the Little Princess Trust.
The charity uses donated hair to provide real hair wigs to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.
Rebecca attends Evenlode Primary School and she has raised money through sponsorship with the support of family and friends.
Alexis at Blu Hair Design on Stanwell Road was "delighted" to assist when she learned of Rebecca's decision and Rebecca said she loves her new look.
She said: "Hopefully, my hair donation will mean that a poorly princess will have a lovely new look soon too."
