A NEW dance class offering women the chance to feel confident has opened in Penarth.
The class, called Turn’d Up Fitness, will be held at Penarth Methodist Church, every Wednesday at 10am, and is run by Gabi Chaney.
Turn’d Up Fitness is a dance fitness class to R&B and dancehall tunes.

Ms Chaney, who has been teaching Turn’d Up Fitness for 18 months said: “What I love about the class is that it’s one hour of the day where I get to be me.
“It makes you feel free, releases any stress or anxiety you might be feeling and works wonders for your self-confidence.
“It’s way more than a fitness class, it’s teaching women to feel powerful and confident about their bodies.

“It’s teaching women to empower women.”
At a Turn’d Up class, you can burn between 500-1000 calories in one hour.
“I’ve seen so many women start out nervously at their first class and in a couple of weeks transform into confident, happy best versions of themselves and it makes it all worth it," said Ms Chaney.

“It’s a safe space, judgement free zone, we are all there for the same reason and to build each other up.
“It’s my passion and I share this passion and energy through my classes.
“I love to dance; I love music and I love to share this passion and energy through my class.”
Ms Chaney also teaches two evening classes: Tuesdays at 7.30pm at The Old School in Sully and Thursdays at 7pm at St Cyres School Penarth.
