PENARTH'S Red Herring Theatre return to the Pier Pavilion with a live radio play production of Christmas classic It’s a Wonderful Life next week.

After the successful sell out of Clue on Stage, the company returns with the performance on December 20, 21 and 22.

Eight actors will bring the town of Bedford Falls to life in a 1940s radio play, with sound effects and live music to tell the story of George Bailey, whose troubles lead him to wish he had never been born.

Director Alex Wilson said: “We are thrilled to be able to bring this classic film to life on stage in the run up to Christmas and we hope to send audiences away with a big dose of festive cheer.

“The talented cast are having a blast bringing to life a plethora of colourful characters and we cant wait to show the people of Penarth the fruits of our labour.”
