I AM interested to learn that Wales is getting a share of £2bn funding over seven years.
This is the third tranche of monies from Europe and it is worrying that 15 years of a Labour Government at Cardiff Bay that we are still not better off and chasing help from the EU.
This can only be put down to failure at Cardiff Bay, failure in policy to tackle deprivation as we seriously lag behind.
It really is sad that we have to chase this money and £2bn over seven years may seem a lot but actually it isn’t. After the third attempt I seriously hope that Labour now delivers on jobs and growth as Wales must improve.
One can only wait and see.
