THIS week, I went to see Stanwell School’s musical “Aida” written by Elton John, lyrics by Tim Rice.
A very demanding musical for young people but they rose to the demands of the score with great enthusiasm.
The production was brilliant, well thought out and directed. The discipline on stage with such a large cast was incredible. Every young person played their part with controlled passion and great stage presence.
Congratulations to everyone involved. I look forward to your next production with interest. How will you follow this? But I know you will astound the followers of Stanwell’s musicals as you always do.
