DO you have a New Year’s resolution to volunteer in your local community?
Why not kick start 2015 by volunteering for Age Cymru in south Wales, helping older people to maintain or improve their health and fitness?
Age Cymru is a Welsh charity working to improve the lives of older people across Wales.
We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers with an interest in health who are based in the Vale of Glamorgan.
As a volunteer, you’ll be fully trained and supported to help older people make small changes to enhance their wellbeing.
You could run a gentle exercise class or help older people complete an ‘Add To Your Life’ personal health check.
We are holding training courses for our ‘LIFT’ exercise class in Cardiff during March 2015 and in Merthyr Tydfil during April 2015.
Our ‘Add To Your Life’ health check training is available from February 2015.
If you would like to find out more please contact Margot Deveraux, Volunteer Coordinator on 029 2043 1553 or by emailing margot.deveraux@agecymru.org.uk.
