AT a time when there is so much bad news it is heartening to be able to record an incident that shows that people still care for others.
My granddaughter, who has problems with her leg, fell on the Cogan bus on Friday, February 13.
She was in much pain, and unable to rise. Two ladies on the bus helped her up and comforted her. As I was not at home they rang my neighbour, who went to help.
A short time later I rang my granddaughter and learned of the incident. I picked her up immediately.
Unfortunately, in my haste I omitted to thank these ladies adequately, also the bus driver, who took his bus temporarily out of service and allowed her to rest until I arrived.
My sincere thanks and those of my granddaughter are due to these people who took such care of a young lady in distress.
