WE wanted to thank all your readers who came on board to join British Heart Foundation (BHF) Cymru in February in the fight for every heartbeat.

As you may already know February was National Heart Month and during that time we asked people to ‘Wear it. Beat it’ to support us and raise money to continue to fund the vital research needed to fight heart disease.

With one in four of our loved ones lost to heart and circulatory disease each year, every penny raised makes a huge difference to our lifesaving work.

Countless people right across Wales fundraised for us by wearing read and hosting a red-themed event to support us and we are hugely grateful for the funds raised so far, which will go towards supporting over 375,000 people in Wales currently living with heart and circulatory disease.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind those who got involved with ‘Wear it. Beat it.’ to pay in the money they raise and to remind your readers that there is still time to get involved with ‘Wear it. Beat it.’, readers can simply text RED to 70060 to donate £3 for the BHF’s lifesaving research.
