I LIVE in Kymin Terrace and have for many years walked my dog up to the Headland Park from where there is a wonderful view.
The Park has now been completely ruined by the erection of a grey brick bunker which has no obvious purpose and which must have cost a large amount of taxpayers' money as it has been under construction for months.
I have written to the clerk of Penarth Town Council to ascertain what this folly cost and I hope that this information will be provided under the Freedom of Information Act. The erection of this carbuncle has spoilt a simple park which could easily have been refurbished at modest cost.
As far as the designer of this excrescence goes he or she should hang their head in shame.
