Vale Show was terrific - and so was bus service

A LAST-MINUTE decision to go to the Vale of Glamorgan Show at Fonmon Castle last Wednesday (August 22) proved to be a good one.
The deciding factor was the option to take public transport provided by Watts Coaches. With my pass I was able to travel for free, the fixed cost being a mere £1.50.
I thoroughly enjoyed being driven through various towns and villages and was dropped right at the entrance. And how sensible to display the various coach schedules where the ticket desk was.
After a very enjoyable afternoon I made my way back to the coach area at the entrance. The bus drivers were professional and courteous and the lady in the Watts coach office very informative.
It made for an easy journey for me from the Windsor Arcade in Penarth and several more stops were made en-route. What a pity more people did not take advantage of this service.
I hope it will be provided next year. Thanks to all who made it happen for me – even the weather co-operated!
