Busy time for business in Penarth

IT has been a busy couple of weeks for trade in Penarth with several new businesses setting up shop around the town.
A number of new businesses have filled vacant premises while others have been celebrating one-year-anniversaries.
H & Q Accesories and Bags, on Cornerswell Road is one of those.
Joan Qui opened the Cornerswell Road shop in May last year.
She said: "The local community has been very supportive. They say the prices are very reasonable and the service friendly. All the items are good-quality and many are unusual and unique."
Fronting a fleet of new businesses is a business and personal development consultancy established in London, and expanded to south Wales.
Based in Penarth Marina 1st Life Management was set up by former Penarth rugby player Robert Wiltshire and his wife Toni.
They provide business and personal coaching to businesses including individuals, and fitness coaching working with local fitness clubs and individuals, as well as youth coaching specifically for professionals and parents working with young people at risk.
Free consultations are available to all groups and individuals.

Meanwhile award-winning Indian restaurant chain Mint and Mustard is also set to open a take-away in Penarth today (Thurs May 23).
They are based on the corner of Glebe Street, at the former premises of the Hong Sang Cantonese takeaway.
A flower school and craft centre opened over the weekend on Tennyson Road - created by Toni Horne, it will provide classes in floristry, life drawing,
sewing, knitting, crafts, and Spanish, French and Italian
lessons amongst other things.
A new taxi company, Cab 64 from David Mais, is also due to hit the streets.
And a new beauty salon has taken over the Albert Road shop recently vacated by fashion shop Julie.T.
