HICKMAN House Dental and Laser Surgery staff have raised close to £2500 with their Welsh Three Peaks Challenge.

The six-strong team put their months of training to the test on Friday July 12 when they climbed Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Pen y Fan – totalling 21 miles and an overall ascent of 9397ft!

Even the scorching heat couldn’t stop them, as they completed the challenge in just 19 hours!

Team-leader Dr Mark Roach said: "It was a fantastic team experience - we had a lot of fun although it was difficult at times in the hot weather. Our team, which included our brilliant driver Denzil, was made up of people with various levels of fitness and abilities and we really pulled together to complete the task in an amazing 19 hours.”

The team would to thank everyone who supported them and donated to the cause - from patients, to family and friends, and the rest of the dental team.

They money will be shared among the British Heart Foundation, Great Ormond Street, LATCH, Wales Air Ambulance, Autism Cymru, Kidney Research Unit Wales, Alzheimers UK , and Cerebra Donations can still be made at www.virginmoneygiving.com/hickmanhouse
