THE CIVIC Service was held in Llandough on Sunday, July 9 in St Dochdwy’s Church to celebrate the installation of the new chairman of the community council, Councillor Dr Mo Misra and to ask for God’s guidance on the work of the council and the community at large.
A spokesman for the community council said was a very successful event which was enjoyed by all those in attendance. The collection made in the church will be donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The chairman’s thanks go to all those who attended and especially to Reverend Mark Jones and Reverend Elfed Jones who presided over the service and to Manon Ogwen Parry, opera soloist who performed.
