A GROUP raising funds to rehouse a refugee family in Penarth is hold a concert this weekend.
Croeso Penarth has recently been successful in identifying a suitable privately rented house for a Syrian family of four from a refugee camp.
The next event is a concert of music, song and dance where performers from Penarth and Barry have come together for the event on Sunday, January 14 at the Paget Rooms on Victoria Road.
Some of the acts performing include Barry Male Voice Choir, Oasis World Choir, Pupils of Jeff Guppy's School of Musical Theatre, Canton and Porthkerry community choirs, Penarth Community Choir and various instrumentalists and soloists singing in a variety of styles.
The event starts at 3pm and tickets can be bought at ticketsource.co.uk/croeso-penarth for £15 or by calling 0333 666 3366 with a £1.50 telephone sales fee or at the door for £20.
