SEEKING to build on the narrow 17-16 home win over close rivals Pontyclun in their last league outing, Penarth Rugby Club's 1st XV travel to Aberdare this Saturday.

With the points against Ponty coming through Mike Clare and Joe Page (tries) and James Docherty (a penalty and two conversions), the win puts Penarth fourth in the table.

The side's next home fixture is against current league leaders Cardiff Quins on Saturday, December 28.
