MURCH Bowling club is holding an open day on April 19, at 2.15pm when existing members and coaches would be happy to meet and help prospective members who take the opportunity to try their hand at bowling.
Children from Murch Junior School have been coming to the club for several years and the aim is to encourage older children as well as ladies and gents to come along.
President Judy Fudge and vice president Roger Mauchline are committed to recruiting new members this season and are looking forward to welcoming people during the open day.
Bowls and some overshoes will be available if required.
The club would also like to invite ladies and gents to join them on Saturday evenings between 8pm and 9.30pm, ladies on Tuesday afternoons at 2.15pm and gents on a Tuesday evening at 7.30pm before season commences.
