NEWPORT Gwent Dragons flanker Scott Matthews and lock Scott Andrews have been brought into the Wales Under-20s' line-up for their Junior World Championship rematch with France tomorrow morning (kick-off 6.35am).

The Cross Keys pair come into the XV that beat the French in the final group game last week along with Ospreys wing Ashley Evans.

Matthews replaces Will Boyde, Andrews comes in for Dragons colleague Joe Davies, the 18-year-old getting a well-deserved rest after being a key figure so far, and Evans slots in down the left for Joshua Adams.

Wales won 13-3 last Tuesday but had to settle for second place in the pool behind Ireland and subsequently the 5th-8th playoffs.

"We managed to win on Tuesday without much territory or possession, so if we can improve on those fronts, and play to our strengths, there's no reason we can't repeat the feat," said head coach Byron Hayward.

"France are excellent at the line-out, that is an area we must target in order to both deprive France of good quality ball and to increase our own attacking opportunities. We have to be more accurate in everything we do."
