RESULTS from Dinas Powis Golf Club ladies section are:
On March 3 a 9-hole Stableford was held with first going to Audrey Harwood with 20 points, second was Angela Brown with 16 points on the back six from third Pat Gosling with 16 points on the back six from Louise Wilding with 16 points.
On March 10 a 9-hole Medal was held with first going to Sue Bridle 44 - 9.5 = 34.5nett, second was Maxine Hird 48 - 10.5 =37.5 nett and third was Audrey Harwood 50 - 12 = 38 nett.
On March 17 an 18-hole Norwegian Stableford was held with first going to Ann Mahenthiralingam, Sue Bridle and Annie Blackburn with 102 points, second was Louise Wilding, Lisa Ryley and Ruth Yates with 99 points and third went to Angela Brown, Audrey Harwood and Vicki Ellison with 88 points.
On March 17 a 9-hole Norwegian Stableford saw first place awarded to Terry Unwin, Angela Thomas and June Jones with 42 points and second was Pam Warne, Jackie Lewis and Chris Nelms with 41 points.
On March 24 a 9-hole Texas Scramble saw first place go to Angela Brown, Audrey Harwood and Mel King 41 - 13.33 = 27.67nett and second went to Moyra Smith and Terry Unwin 45 -16.75 = 28.25nett.
On March 31 an 18-hole Hi-Lo Stableford was played with first place going to Maxine Hird and Ruth Yates, second was Ann Mahenthiralingam and Pat Gosling and third went to Sue Bridle and Annie Blackburn.
On March 31 a 9-hole Stableford was played with Pam Warne coming in first place.
Congratulations to Maxine Hird on scoring a superb Hole in One on the 18th Hole on March 31. This is her first Hole in One and she celebrated this feat in the traditional way by buying all the ladies a drink.
