SULLY Cricket Club made it three friendly wins out of three with an eight wicket victory against Capel CC, with all Spartans bowlers taking wickets.
Winning the toss, Spartans skipper Chris Howe elected to bowl first and he would not be disappointed with the way the team bowled and fielded.
Hyder and Kanish making their debuts bowled superbly and with a bit more luck would have taken more wickets but their time will come.
First change bowlers Sunny (five overs two maidens two for 20) and Morgan (five overs two maidens two for 10) had more luck and Capel were 64 for six.
The middle order tried to move the score along, but Haaris (six overs one maiden two for 13) and Crick (five overs two maidens two for 14) had the opposition in all sort of trouble and the innings closed at 109 all out.
In reply Krishna (not out 17) and Shoiab (28) put on 38 before the later was given leg before wicket (LBW).
Another quick wicket brought in skipper Chris Howe (36 not out) who together with Krishna carefully built up a superb winning partnership totalling of 77 (which included with the totals tied a tremendous six from Howe which seemed to go for miles).
Capel CC 109 all out
D Morgan 2 for 10
Haaris 2 for 13
N Crick 2 for 14
Sunny 2 for 20
Sully Cricket club 115 for 2
C Howe 36 not out
Shoiab 28
Krishna 17 not out
Next weekend the Spartans have two games, a home game on the Saturday against a touring side from Oxford is followed on Sunday by an away game to Barry Wanderers.
