PENARTH Sea Angling held their recent competition on Sunday, May 3, with Paul Starling coming in first place with four dogfish weighing 6lb 5oz from the beach.
Alan Willmott came in second with a dogfish weighing 2lb from the pier.
Third was Dale Bourgaize with a dogfish from the pier weighing 2lb. Alan and Dale drew raffle tickets to determine their positions.
Junior member Owen Harding caught a dogfish from the beach weighing 1lb 11oz.
The next competition will be this Sunday, fishing from the pier and beach from 9.30am until 1.30pm.
