PENARTH Sea Angling hosted their most recent competition on Sunday, September 11.
First place went to Adam Farmer with two conger eels caught on the beach weighing 4lb 12oz.
Second went to Lee Williams with a codling from the beach weighing 1lb 14oz.
Chris James was third with a conger eel from the beach weighing 1lb 11 1/2oz.
In fourth was Donna Payne with a Dover sole from the pier weighing 1lb 5oz.
The next competition will be on Sunday, September 25, fishing from the pier and beach from 1pm to 5pm.
