Summer Singles
The Penarth Darts League summer singles event has reached the half way stage this week and at this point the leading eight players have all been entered into one pool and the other eight players into a second pool in an effort to improve the competitiveness of all players in both pools.
Kevin Murdock leads pool A on 19 points with Jack Frost, Rob Grant, Ian Hartley, Dave Hodges, Wayne Jones and Luke Hoogstadt all very close behind, In pool B it’s Dai Jeynes leading the way with 10 points followed closely by Paul Paterson, Charlie Cook, Richie Taylor and Paddy Ayres.
We have enjoyed some great darts and oche banter so far this summer with the darts hotting up with the weather bringing out many high scores and quality out shots from all the players both at the Cogan Coronation Club and Top House alike, now with the second half of the season starting on August 3 all players will no doubt be very keen to continue their support and improve their standings over the coming seven weeks.
