ELITE results: Matt Stanger made a welcome return after his horrific accident to hit 4 maximums whilst winning 2 of his 3 league games. Anthony Adams was just behind with 3 of his own, including 2 in the brilliant encounter with Matt, who had a 17 dart leg, going down 3-1, with Anthony hitting a 16 darter in the decider. James Johnstone also got back on track, taking 3 points, including a win over arch rival Mark Stevens, to close the gap at the top. Carwyn Evans drew both his games, whilst Lee Lewis (180) could only manage a single point from his 2 games. 3 players are tied for top spot on 4 points a piece.

Mutineers results: Neil Thomas had a blistering night, to go top of the pile, winning 3 games, hitting a 14 dart leg, a 180 and taking out 110. A good night’s work. Russ Edwards, 18 darter, also cemented 2nd place, at this early stage, by taking 3 out of 4 points available. Paul Cox, has taken over the mantle of the draw-master, after 2-2 scores with The Sparkle, his dad Mo, and newbie Grant Coombes. It’s a warm welcome to Grant, who has joined mid-season, to take his place in the Pirate mutineers, for the rest of the campaign. As well as the draw, he also won and lost games for 3 points on the night, well done keep it up. Nathan Rosser took a solitary point, keeping him on the coat tails of the top 4.

Singles cup: The quarter-finals of the singles was drawn, after wins for Lee Lewis over Paul Cox 3-1, James over Anthony (180), by 3-2, and Matt over Paul Green, to complete the last 8 lineup.
