THE B.P. RFC Vets will play a memorial match this Saturday in tribute to Nigel Westall.
The Sully club will take on worthy competitors Magor RFC Vets, in the fifth annual fundraising match in tribute to the popular 42-year-old, who died suddenly in 2005.
For the first time there will also be a youth match with Sully Sports RFC youngsters playing Pencoed Youth RFC.
The memorial match will kick off at B.P. Sully Sports and Social Club at 11am - with all Vets players interested in coming out of retirement for the contest to be at the ground by 10.30am.
Curry and chips will be served in the clubhouse following both games.
A raffle, games and entertainment for the whole family will follow, with the chance to savour the atmosphere ahead of the Six Nations match between Ireland and Wales - which will be shown on the big screen.
All profits from the day will be donated to the Marie Curie Cancer Care Hospice in Penarth.
