A GIRLS Football Festival, arranged by the Welsh Football Trust, Vale of Glamorgan Council and local clubs, will take place at Colcot Sports Centre (Astro Turf) on Thursday, March 25, from 5.15pm to 6.15pm.
The Festival is free of charge and will focus on fun and increasing girls' participation in football. For further details contact Sue Deakin, tel 07967711591.
Sue is also looking for girls, aged 8-10, to join in weekly football sessions with the intention of forming an U10 Girls side and an U12 Girls team for next season.
She said: "We already have an U10 side that competes in the South Wales Girls League, which is connected to Cadoxton Imps Football Club.
"So if there are girls who enjoy watching football and have thought that there are no clubs available to them, but would like to join other like-minded girls, then they should get in touch."
