THERE were 165 competitors on Saturday, April 19, as Glamorganshire Golf Club held its Easter Cup Stableford Competition.

Thanks to the improving weather and general course condition, scoring was much improved on previous weeks.

Ross has now reduced is handicap from five to three in recent years, which is a fine achievement for a category one golfer. In the Two's Competition there were nine golf balls per share.
