THE latest results from the Penarth Sea Angling competition held on Sunday, January 4 are:
First prize went to Paul Starling for two codling and a conga eel weighing 9lb on the beach.
Second was Dean Bowser with two codling from the beach weighing 3lb 8ozs.
Chris Garner came in third with a 2lb 5oz codling from the beach.
Robert Galley was fourth with a 12oz whiting from the pier.
Junior member winner was Jacob Mills who caught a 5oz eel from the beach.
The next competition is this Sunday (January 11) fishing from the pier and beach from 9am until 1pm.
