The next Penarth Sea Angling competition takes place on Sunday, January 31 (53670665)
PENARTH Sea Angling held their last competition on Sunday, January 17, with Jim Sexton taking the top spot.
He caught an eel and a rockling for 1lb 8oz on the beach.
Second was Rob Galley with two whiting weighing 1lb 5oz from the beach.
Next up was John Swainson with a whiting weighing 1lb 1 1/2oz from the pier.
Junior member Owen Harding caught an eel and a rockling weighing 13 1/2oz from the beach.
Another junior member Ioan Sexton caught a rockling on the beach weighing 4 1/2oz.
The next competition takes place on Sunday, January 31, fishing from the pier and beach from 9am until 1pm.
