ON FRIDAY, January 27, Penarth Darts League held their 501 pairs competition at four venues across Penarth.
At the Coronation Club, Paul Wingren and Jack Frost from Ex’s A won against A Deacon and S Griffiths.
At the Ex’s club on board A the pairing of Steve Turnbull and John Nowland also of the Ex’s A team won against N Jones and A Adams.
On the Ex’s B board the pairing of Ian Hartley and Dave Hodges of the Ex’s B team made it through to the finals after beating S Keepin and K Keepin and lastly at the Golden Lion the mixed team pairing of Kevin Murdock Ex’s B and Dai Jeynes Coro A went through to the last four pairs to be played later in the season.
Last week Kate Keepin of the Coro B scored her first 100 in match play darts.
There are no games planned for this this Friday, however teams are advised to arrange any previously cancelled games from the first half of the season.
