Caerphilly Ladies FC 0

HAVING had to replay the SWFA Women's Cup match Dinas Ladies were in no mood to mess about and get the game won as earlier as possible.

Laura Murray, Demi Bounds and Laura Lewis all had chances to open the scoring but after Murray was fouled in the box skipper Leanne Pattermore made no mistake.

Kelly Tuck doubled the lead with a header from a corner as she was fastest to react.

With 25 minutes played it became the Laura Murray show as she bagged a brace before the break. Showing why she is regarded highly amongst her team mates.

Saunders, Jones and Nao won countless ball in the middle and full backs Alicia Cox and Alex Allen provided the width for some great outlets.

The second half was more of a training game as Dinas moved the ball with ease. The back four sniffed out any threat and Naomi Wilson had very little to do in goals.

Murray completed her hat-trick as Demi Bounds turned provider. Then introducing subs Sophie Whittle and Gemma Crowley, Dinas delivered a contender for goal of the season. The move involved five players before Gemma rifled home from just inside the box.

Rachel Beare and Leanne Pattermore thought they had increased the lead from set pieces as they proved a real aerial threat.

All in all this was a very disciplined display from a group of ladies who have turned into a well drilled out fit.

Dinas now face Cwmbran in the semi-finals.
