THE MILLENNIUM Stadium will become the Principality Stadium next year after the Welsh Rugby Union agreed a 10-year naming rights deal.
The Principality Building Society, sponsors of the Welsh Premiership, have secured naming rights for the Cardiff venue from January.
The ground has been called the Millennium Stadium since it opened in June 1999.The first clash under the new name will be the Six Nations visit of Scotland on February 13.
It has hosted rugby union, rugby league, speedway and football with the UEFA Champions League final booked in 2017.
